| May 1 | I started an annual tradition at my school: LEI DAY. Today's was rather simple with all the students making leis and then exchanging them in the spirit of Aloha. I had found out about Lei Day on the Internet. | ||
| Sept. 14 and 15 | I once again ventured out to the park for Ho'olaule'a 1996. I wanted to start getting some video of all the Halau and dancers so didn't really take any stills. Halau 'O Moanike'ala performed on Sunday the 15th. I plan to use the videos for Lei Day 1997 | ||
